Does anyone know why every service today is a 319?
What's happened to the 331's?

They're all running Manchester-Crewe and Manchester-Stoke!Does anyone know why every service today is a 319?

On Sundays, they are mostly 331/0s, single or in pairs.Liverpool to Blackpool North services are usually formed of 319s, unless I'm missing something?
Does this mean that the Leeds -Doncaster will reduce to 3 car, or become 6?As far as I am aware the three car Class 331/0 are going to Yorkshire and the four car Class 331/1 are coming over as a swap in December. I have certainly be advised the four car Class 331/1 will ply their trade on the L&M route instead of the 3 car Class 323's, unless all changed again?
For now (end of November) the Leeds to Doncaster will become 3 car 331. The plan being that Doncaster drivers are to be trained on the 333’s which will replace the 3 car 331’s. The 331’s eventually running round the triangle (with some 6 car workings) when the platform extension work has been completed.Does this mean that the Leeds -Doncaster will reduce to 3 car, or become 6?
I don't know how busy this route is as I've only ever done it during the day, but assumed the peaks would be...
I think you need to direct the question to 'Northern' they are the ones who should know. However, it depends on how many Class 331/0's travel east I suppose but I think it is like for like swap so would suggest the answer to your question could will be no, they could be travelling 3 car Units? If so welcome to our world in the west!Does this mean that the Leeds -Doncaster will reduce to 3 car, or become 6?
