Unfortunately as we've established 2 of those are US and UT which apply to many SWT fares and are also new so really needed to be in there. I also feel ATOC should be made to provide a partial refund to all those that bought AVANTIX as it is incomplete missing as it is missing restrictions and some fares.

I doubt you'd get very far in such a quest, as I expect there's a disclaimer in the licence agreement similar to that in the old printed NFMs.

That one read:
Rail Settlement Plan Ltd said:
CONSUMER PROTECTION ACT 1987

The National Fares Manual is an internal publication intended for use by the staff and agents of rail operators who participate in the Ticketing & Settlement Agreement. The Manual is only made available to the public on condition that Rail Settlement Plan Ltd accepts no liability for any errors or omissions it may contain. As the content of the Manual is liable to change from time to time, persons using the Manual are advised to confirm the accuracy of the information they require with a National Rail Network Station or Travel Centre or an appointed Travel Agent.

Incidentally, "The Manual" is missing fares and restrictions too, it's not a phenomenon limited to Avantix Traveller.

Cheers,

Barry

So if there not in "The Manual", Avantex or NRE how do staff or passengers know what they are?

Some fares may be missing from Avantix if the fare is amend/created after the Avantix Traveller CD went into production. I believe the same issue exists for Fares Finder in The Manual.

The fares will still appear in 'active' systems such as the NRE website, at the ticket office as these systems take a regular feed from the fares database.

Hmm, I e-mailed Barry Doe a couple of months ago to point out that link after someone had posted it on this forum! I'd often read him complaining about there being no complete list publically available seeing lots of the codes require you to cross-reference other codes, and there is no easy way to look these up in Avantix Traveller.
