Would it be feesable to run passenger services from Bodmin Parkway to Bodmin Central if the line was reopened to National Rail? Especially if the proposed extension to Wadebridge was built. It would be more feesable and i think could generate enough passengers
Plymouth
Saltash
Liskeard
Bodmin Parkway
Bodmin General
Boscarne Junction
Wadebridge (extention)
I would assume that if it was seen as being sucessful then the idea would have been proposed. I see it as possible to make something of it espeically the extention to wadebridge as that is hard enough to reach by road.
Do the Bodmin and Wenford Steam Railway own the line outright, or can a "compolsury purhase order" be exercised. Or are they leasing it? Im not sure how these things work. As with Okehampton they are transferring the line so to speak.
Or am i talking complete dross and the line would not at all be worthwhile?
