Anyone know what's going on?

All Scarborough services are being terminated in Platform 2 at York, and apparantly there's a seperate half-hourly service between York & Leeds.

These appear to be taking longer than usual so I can only assume they're being diverted?

East Coast services appear to be running as normal, give or take 10mins (nothing new there!)

National Rail is currently saying derailed train or signalling problems. Go figure.

As it will be a tandem lift, the OHL will have to be released and slued back clear so as to give the cranes sufficent free operating space.

Sluing the OHL would have taken several hours, the lift maybe an hour or so excluding crane set up and set down times, and then the OHL has to be rebuilt and restored, say maybe 4 to 6 hours depending upon the men available.
