Lincoln Christmas Market

[Failed Unit]

Although this doesn't seem to be advertised on the EMT website (or it if is feel free to correct me an paste the Lincoln). EMT will be running London - Lincoln trains for the Christmas market. (on Saturday 5th December)

Northbound,
0730 arriving Lincoln at 1015 (0928 ex Nottingham)
0915 arriving Lincoln at 1201 (1110 ex Nottingham)

Southbound.
1728 arriving London at 2019 (1828 ex Nottingham)

Fares are at the moment £19 single (£38 return) standard
£25 single (£50 return) First

using advance bookings.

Again not seen any details but most other trains are at least 3 coaches on Christmas market days. Don't know where they will get the stock from this year however considering there is much spare unless the 153's will be appearing on routes such as Worksop - Nottingham.

There is also a service running on the Friday

Friday

1015 St Pancras - Lincoln (HST)
1827 Lincoln - St Pancras (HST)

Saturday

0730 St Pancras - Lincoln (7 car Meridian)
(The Meridian then works a service back to Nottingham)
0915 St Pancras - Lincoln (HST)
1728 Lincoln - St Pancras (HST)

There are also a number of shuttles between Nottingham and Lincoln using the HST that works up from London during the day, before it returns in the evening.

As in recent years, we can expect these trains to be very busy. Despite this, they are asking Customer Hosts from the "London Side" to provide a trolley service. Seems strange when the buffet car is available.
