Back in November I travelled up to Lincoln for the heritage event at the bus museum. However I ended up spending most of my time riding the local buses instead.
All the routes I traveled on seemed to be worked out of Lincoln Bus Station with the services running out to a destination and tjen back again. Also being a sunday it was noticable that all the services departing from the bus statiom seemed to run their last journeys around 1600-1700.
If anyone is able to answer I'd be interested to find out has the current network of bus routes in Lincoln always been roughly the same or are there any routes operating today that didn't run historically?
Also is Lincoln one of those places where buses did run later on a Sunday but funding pressures resulted in cutbacks? If so does anyone know roughly when the sunday evening journeys would have been scaled back?
