Limoges day out recommendations

Hi All, currently looking at a September week in Limoges, been before 10 years ago and visited Oradour, this time would like to do a couple of day trips on the train, no more than a 90 minute journey as the missus will be with me and she's not much of a journey enthusiast. Any recommendations? Thanks!

Cahors on the Toulouse main line (75 mins from Limoges) Is an attractive city + loco haulage!

Perigueux is a nice city, and within your limit, but DMU I think. Brive on the mainline is nearer than Cahors.

I would second Cahors (excellent market hall for a picnic lunch) and Périgueux.

Poitiers is a very nice city.

Rocamadour is also do-able, although you’d need to get from the station into the town proper.

Other places for shorter day trips: St Léonard de Noblat; Le Dorat; and La Rochefoucauld.
