Have bought the following so far:
'Weathered' Falcon
Kestrel
Pre ordered 'Original 'NBL Warship
Had to stop myself purchasing 'Lion' so far, but probably 'cave in' sooner rather than later
Would like to add NBL Class 22 and Class 14 but although they look quality, i think they are a tad overpriced at present
Personally though I find the 'Limited Editions' a huge step forward :D in the 'bigger modelling picture'

Sometimes I find new releases and think ''yeah, i'll think about that''

Then I see the words Limited Edition and then it becomes a must have!

No willpower whatsoever!

Silver Link was £133.

Wartime Black has been released a few times. I don't know how much you#d spend, but I'd expect it to be a lot - no less than £100.

Apple Green - again, no clue. I can't even tell you for sure there's a model of an A4 in this livery out there and if there is, it's incredibly rare! You've got a better chance of seeing a whale dressed up as a spy monkey for Christmas dinner!

Bachmann have produced 4482 "Golden Eagle" in LNER apple green livery, as product code 31-956. There's one on Ebay right now going for a Buy it Now price of £89.95, plus P+P: http://shop.ebay.co.uk/?_from=R40&_...nkw=Bachmann+31-956&_sacat=See-All-Categories

Absolute beast of a model. And the limited edition Silver Link is quite a looker too!

My view on limited edition models is if you consider the pros and cons of buying it for long enough, the issue simply goes away as they sell out of stock! And I generally expect that a very similar model will appear in the standard range within a few years, at a less outlandish price, so I’m quite happy to pass by limited edition releases most of the time.
