hi all, not sure where to start this thread so admin, feel free to move it.

i'm just wondering if anyone would be intersted in my train books, which i have put together myself on differant things to do with the railway. For example, train journey logs, line profiles, company profiles, All line rover traips. There is no charge fo them they are free, i'm just looking for people thoughts on them.
The following books are available:

Joruney log's
Are we nearly there yet? - Journey log for 1010 Glasgow- Penzance
The half two, journey log for 1430 Birimingham - Newcastle, (Virgin trains)
The half two, journey log for 1430 Birimingham - Newcastle, (Arriva XC)
6 Days on trains - Basically an All line rover log

Line profiles
A trip along the Blyth and Tyne - Line profile of freight branch

Comapny profiles
Northern
Crosscountry
National Express
Tyne and Wear Metro (Due March 2009)

Station profile
Birmingham New Street

Anyone intersted PM me.
I will need, an email adress to send it to
And how you want it send MS Works (with pics)
or Rich text doc (no pics).

Also if anyone has any idea's of what would make a good topic for my next train book then please feel free to drop a comment.
Any questions drop a comment on here. Thanks.

I'm not really sure how to do that, i'm not all that good with computers. I would like to make my own website for railway things, photo's, books, diagrams, stuff like that, but not sure how to do it.

Someone also told be you have to pay to make a website a hosting charge or something. Its something i know nothing about.

I might set up a bebo chat room page and make for railways.

You could scan them in and I could arrange for extra space for you to upload them to your RailUK Album - you could then put them in the Story forum.

Setting up a website is easy. and free. but it can be time consuming. you dont have to know anything about code or graphics to set up a basic website.
I havent set one up for years, but in the distant past, these places used to be good for basic sites:
www.angelfire.com
www.1colony.com

maybe there are some others as well. they will let you set up a basic website, where you will be able to upload stories, photos, and more. Its not difficult at all. If I can do it, anyone can!
also, if you want to get a nice, short, easy to remember website address, go here: www.dot.tk

dont use bebo. after all, some of the people who want to read the stuff might be OLDER than 12 years old....

I like the journey log train books. You could perhaps do one of those for different operators such a NXEC, Northern or FTPE.

Another idea - Perhaps you could do a book on a certain class such as the 158s etc.

I sent a PM in January, still not received a copy. SO maybe instead of writing more you could try delivering once in a while!
