Hi everyone.

As some of you already know i make my own train books up to do with the railways on subjects that i'm intested in. Some of you may have copies of my books and i hope you like them. Well the latest train book is all about National Express trains both East Coast and East Anglia. Its basically a company profile type thing. If anyone is interested in having a copy then its free. I will need the following:

An email address (send this through private message please to keep it confidential)

Wheather you would like it in Works (with pictures) or as a rich text doc (without pics and opens with any suitable program)


PS - I'm sorry if i have missed any orders from the last lot of books that i posted info on here about. Some of the books are very large files some over 25 pages and are too large to send. I'll try and sort this out.

Surely it's more a document or leaflet than a book at only 25 pages... not knocking your idea, just suggesting that most people think of a book as a hardback glossy printed thing... I'm interested in the National Express East Coast one though so I'll PM you.

Also publishing it in pdf instead of rtf/wps would allow you to have it accessible to all most users, and fix picture placement etc. Also its now accepted as an internet publishing standard. There are free pdf programmes online / downloadable.

Surely with free webhosting lilLoaf could put their file on there as a download, assuming they have copyright for all text, photos pictures and graphics etc.

Tip: How big are the word files with the pictures in? G-Mail which you are using can send up to 20mb in one email.
G-Mail might not like sending word documents which could be your problem, you can send word files using hotmail though. Get back to me or PM me and I might be able to help you.

I got a copy off someone and to be honest, not impressed. Full of bad information.

For example...

NXEC do not own/run Neville Hill or Heaton. Clayhills, NXEC run, missed out. Might as well mention Inverness for stabling, if you want to mention Neville Hill and Heaton.

Hot spare is not worth mentioning since the loss of set EC64, hardly ever run. Forgot mention of the additional Peterborough thunderbird I believe NXEC brought in.

Apparently Virgin don't name trains? Not seen a pendolino for a while but the super voyagers still are.

Skipton no mention but Harrogate and Hull is?

Last time I saw a pendo (yesterday) there was a name on it. In fact I think all the pendos have names

I've not read it, so can't really comment, but maybe (s)he means 'named trains' in the sense of services named, ie, NXEC have names such as the 'Northern Lights', 'Highland Cheiftain' etc, whereas ICWC used to have names such as 'Royal Scot', 'Manchester Pullman', 'Irish Mail' etc, which were all finally abandoned during the Virgin reign (though many, such as the Manchester Pullman, under British Rail).
