It seems strange that there is no charge for using an elevator. When you are in a building it is costing the building owner electricity and would have thought it would be logical for them to try and recover this through an elevator charge. If you are disabled or for some reason need to use the elevator it should be free but if you just didn't want to walk up the stairs then why not charge to use the elevator?
God I've heard some rubbish before but this takes the Chocolate Digestive :roll:
Why is it strange exactly I can't see why anybody would be required to pay for an lift what a silly notion! What next? People required to pay to sit in a bus shelter?, walk along a pavement?, enter a shop? :roll:
