No, this is not a sci-fi topic, on the program life on mars this evening I saw a BR blue 47 with several maroon mk1's on what appeared to be the GCR

anyone confirm what and where this happened?

I thought it may have been the East Lancs Railway - the station being Bury and the loco being 47402 'Gateshead'. The railway is also fairly close to Manchester.
