Lickey elecrified

Riding Cross-Country's Cardiff to Nottingham this morning, I was surprised to see masts being erected and mast-bases going in on the Lickey bank. I haven't read anything on the forum about this. Is it just a local "Electrics to Bromsgrove" job, or is it the start of a bigger job, linking up Midlands to the GW electrification through Cheltenham and so-on?
