'Ello all,

Just being nosey here (not doing a survey or nothing! ;)) If you travel on Heritage Railways, what stock do you prefer travelling in, whether your bashing your beloved 31, 50, Gronk whatever.

Mk1's TSO's, SK's etc Mk2's FK's, TSO's etc etc, EMU Vehicles, DMU trailers....

Whether you like sitting in a table of four in a open vehicle, or shut in a compartment with six. Whats your prefference?

Cheers,

Julez.

I've always been fond of Mk 1's and Mk 2's. :)

Riding on the North Norfolk's DMU the other week seemed to be just like a bus.

I like DMUs or compartments best, MK1 or MK2, not that bothered.

I prefer Mk1s as they are easier to lock up at night. LNER stuff and GWR with the strap windows can be a pain.

Behind a loco it's fun with a brake van at the back/front as you get 6 windows at the front to yourself.
