Level Crossing Roundabout in Germany

Came across this - I'll leave it without comment (because I couldn't work out exactly was going on here!)

It would seem to be an industrial line running to private sidings close by, possibly dumping one train of trucks and taking others back the way it came. Quite a complex arrangement of barriers for both roads and pedestrians!

That is a very long time between the red light and barrier falling (nearly 1 minute), so long that the car in the foreground was going to jump the light.

I was wondering why it took so long, you could see other barriers in the background going down much quicker

There are only 3 Frighttrains per day crossing this roundabout. This roundabout was built in 2009. Before it there was a normal junction.
