I've just applied for this role does anyone have any further info on it like the shift pattern etc. allowances? also how complicated is it, its a grade 2 position so does that mean it has some signaling involved? I currently work in London for civil service and have been doing shifts for 25 years nights weekends, nights 13 hours shifts etc. monitoring computer systems so I think this might be a good job for me and the money seems similar, can anyone shed any light on the lancing crossing keeper post for me?

Many thanks

Steve

Hi thanks, yeah I had a look but not too much info. Anyway just got my assessment emailed to me so will have a go at that tonight, anyone know if it is easy or not, I did the signalers one last year and its was really difficult and I failed it. But passed the one for operative.
