Yes, it is Duke Street indeed.
And Scotland is already a different country. Yet, within another country. ;)

So now it's up to you!

After an exotic foreign diet, here's one made with plain vanilla-flavour British stations....

My first is in Bromborough, but not in Braintree,
My second in Wargrave and Warrington Bank Quay.
My third is in Thornliebank and Trafford Park,
My fourth is in Carnforth, Catford and Cathcart.
My fifth is in Pewsey, Petts Wood and Weymouth,
My sixth's not in Cheshunt, it's in Chessington South.
My seventh is in Harrogate and Harlow Mill,
My last is in Rochford and Gordon Hill.

Staying with the theme of the UK (for once), here's another foreign riddle - in Welsh this time. The answers are correct in both languages.

Fy gyntaf yn Cwmbrân, ond nid mewn Crymlyn
Mae fy ail yw i mewn Glyn Ebwy, yn ogystal â Ewlo
Fy trydydd yw yn Saltney, ond nid Treorci
Fy allan, fodd bynnag, yw yn y trydydd ar y ddwy ochr
Mae fy pumed yn Ffestiniog, dro ar ôl tro yn ogystal
Nid yw fy chweched yn Abermaw, yn Saesneg, ond a oes yn y Gymraeg
Mae'r gwrthwyneb ar gyfer fy seithfed a Y Fenni
Mae fy wythfed yn Rhiwabon, yn ogystal â Prestatyn
Fy olaf yn Tywyn, yn ogystal â Tenby

The fourth one is the same settlements as the third, but in both names. Google Translate must've made a mistake...

Find the first in a pudding, but not in gin.
The second’s in an apple pie, but in lard it’s not to be seen.
For the third, don’t look in first’s pudding, but in herring instead.
With yoghurt, and not syrup for the fourth, you should be well-fed.
The fifth and sixth can both be found in pineapple, but not pinecone.
The seventh is in raspberry, rhubarb, and barley alike.
With the eighth not in dough, nor lard, but in pudding alone.
And to end the ninth from bread or Edam should end the hunger strike.

I asked OxtedL for an amendment, he didn't think it necessary. I've mentioned this before though.

That explains why I was so doubtful about it being correct.
But Daslunatic, it was indeed Upholland. Back to you now.

My first is in Merstham, but not in Sutton
My second is in Supertram, yet not in Sheffield
My third isn’t in Zaphod, nor Beeblebrox or Magrathea
My fourth is in Oxshott, Oxford as well as oxbow
My fifth is in Stranraer, but not in Sutton
My sixth is in Patterton, but not Cathcart or Neilston
My seventh is in Heathrow and Gatwick, and also Stansted
My penultimate’s not in one, two, three, but in four
So my last is in “king and knave”, but not in shave.

Well, it's still mandatory for these stations to be National Rail. Full points to Quakkerillo for guessing it anyway.

Crossrail stations will still count once it opens, bringing Bond Street, Tottenham Court Road and Farringdon into the equation.

Given the current fashion for going overseas (me included), it might be worth editing the quiz rules shown on Page 1 to explicitly say something like "the solution must be a National Rail station in Britain which is currently open - no Tram/Light Rail stops, LU, Le Shuttle, heritage lines, Snowdon Mountain Railway etc."
------------------------------------------------------
Anyhow, here's an easy one in traditional style:-

My first is in Sherborne, but not Surrey Quays,
My second in Stratford and also Aintree.
My third is in Dove Holes and Dalgety Bay,
My fourth in Hindley, Chorley and Keighley.
My fifth is in Polegate, Pitsea and Parton,
My last is in Cromer, Cambridge and Moreton

I've already mentioned that I can't, and OxtedL was unwilling. Maybe we can coax an admin or mod into doing so?

Would that be Balham?

Hi! Nice to see someone new in the quiz!
Thank you.

That's correct.

Your go.
In that case, here's one I made earlier:

My first is in Bargoed and in Barry Dock,
My second's in Bangor and proud Porthmadog.
My third and my fourth frequent Abergele,
But neither continue along down Pensarn way.
My fifth finds Dyffryn Ardudwy a friend,
Yet somehow Penhelig seems to offend.
My sixth's in Caergwrle, Caerphilly, and Chirk,
And so is my seventh, to save you some work!
My eighth loves Llandrindod and Grangetown the same,
My last's in Ty Glas and Tygwyn - there's your name!

I'm struggling with this one. Is this the layout?

B/A/R/O/D
B/A/G/O/R
B/G/L
D/Y/F/R/A/D/U/W/Y
C/R
C/R
A/N/R/O
T/Y/G

Remember no DLR, LU, Metrolink, Tyne & Wear Metro, Tramlink, Supertram, Blackpool Tramway, Nottingham Express Transit or heritage rail allowed. National Rail only!
