Leighton Buzzard to Edinburgh

Hi - Looking for a cheap way to get from Leighton Buzzard to Edinburgh

Going on the 20/8, returning on the 23/8.

Not bothered when I travel, though would ideally like to get to Edinburgh before nightfall on the 20th.

I have a 16-25 railcard - Best I've found so far is £59.45.

London Midland cheapo advance to Crewe is a good way to start, then look at Virgin advances from Crewe - Preston/Carlisle way then TPE to Edinburgh

Thanks for advice - For those interested I managed to get it at £44.15 splitting at Crewe on the way up and down.
