Leicester station opening times

Hello all,

does anybody know when Leicester station is open untill?

Im on my way to the DFR diesel gala day and my train leaves kett at 0030 and arrives into leicester at about 1am. The XC service to brum brum then leaves at 0545 so i am left with practically 5h 45m to kill. If the station is open thats fine, but if its not i have a bit of a problem!

Any help is appreciated!

Well, the station is staffed 24/7, so one would assume that it's an open station.

Newcastle is staffed 24 hours too, but they usually lock up around midnight until the first departure at 0430 (obviously they open up to let people out arriving after midnight ). I'd have a word with the staff when you arrive, they might be ok with you hanging around if they know what you're up to.

You could try EMT Customer Services on 08457 125 678 Mon-Fri 8-8. It does say that staff help is available 24/7 which implies that it is open.

Turns out its locked up and everyone goes home at like 5 mins after the last train. So spent 2 hours on the phone to 'D9521' and then proceeded into the 24h Maccy D's for the next 3h 15 mins untill it opened again!
