Leicester heritage transport day 6/9/15

Hi all,

For anyone who attended yesterday the you'll know how great this was, for anyone who missed it.... Just make sure you go next year, it's a fantastic eeve t.

Plenty of buses on display, lots of bus rides organised, such as a tour of leicester, or a ride to the old stonechats tram depot, or they had a shuttle to the GCR at Quorn and there was also a shuttle bus to first bus depot on the abbey road.

These were all free and loads to do!

Didn't realise they 100 out on the roads yesterday. Saw it parked up at abbey pumping station during the day. Gutted I missed that as that was the bus I grew up catching into town on Saturdays as a kid!.

They have a leyland Olympian as well that was donated by the owner of confidence. It's an original member of the midland fox fleet and hopefully it will be restored for next year!. I'm hoping they put in midland fox colours as well!

To be fair though we just went for day out as the family and I can highly recommend it!, great time for minimal cost!... And finally got myself a feet lost for first leicester!!!
