I am researching both historical freight and passenger traffic flows that once must have passed through this station and would welcome any input from from forum members to supplement what I have discovered to date.

News on any unusual freight that could have been carried would be gratefully accepted.

Geordie back from exile.
It seems that this was a short line from Wrexham to Rhosllannerchrugog with intermediate stops at Rhostyllen and Legacy. There was a coal mining industry around that part of Wales so I guess that coal traffic on the line could have been seen. Looking at old maps of Rhosllannerchrugog there were mineral railways marked so it seems some form of mining there was generating some rail traffic

Hope this is of some help.

I have now collated a list of goods that passed through Legacy station towards Wrexham on goods trains from the Pontcysyllte branch line that made an end on connection with the Rhos branch and so far, my researches have shown the goods carried were coal, pipes, bricks, earthenware, zinc metal engine parts and other castings.
