In addition to the title; has any of the Leeds station talent pool heard anything as of yet?

Keep this thread updated if we can. Apologies if this has been created historically, I couldn't find anything on the search.

This thread is for people who have passed the assessment centre and are currently on the Leeds talent pool. Your question is regarding the York station.

Any of you talent pool guys been brought in for courses since they started recruiting for Leeds again?

I had my assessment day back in February and was told I'd got it and was just waiting for a course start date, my course starts in Leeds in the 16th of may. Talent pool was never mentioned

They never mentioned a May course at my interview on Tuesday. Only a course in June and July this year.

It's probably too soon to put you on a may course if you've just had your interview mate, a week for a decision, 2 weeks booking for your medical, that could be why.

I was originally told June but was told yesterday she had me down for my so could I still start in may.
Contract came through this morning too. Good luck guys

As far as I can see Si talks about guard course while rest talk about driver courses/jobs...

They've just recruited someone more trainers to cope with having to recruit 50+ conductors at Leeds and 30+ at Skipton ready for the extra services so more courses will be planned I'm sure.

I don't know about recruitment levels for other depots.
