Good news for Leeds, and good news for me personally as I worked on part of this. What do people think of the plans? Anyone work around Granary Wharf who will be using this?

used to.

I can only assume that there will be a big sign on Neville street pointing to the new entrance?

Yes the design is good, but.....

Isn't it just as far to walk to the new entrance from neville street as it is to walk under the railway and take the normal entrance?

It just doesnt make sense to me, but I guess there was nowhere else to put it but surely swinegate was an option

i'll definetly use it for links with buses, it's a better way of getting into the station and should be good...

Depends on where you are coming from really, some parts of Neville Street and that area will be right in the middle of the two, but of course depends on what platform you get your train at. Will be helpful for those working on the south side who get a train to Huddersfield or Knottingley. In addition, it should also mean less congestion at the current barriers at peak time.

And, of course, express services to York, Hull & Manchester.

It is just a shame that Granary Wharf is now just a car park. A new station entrance could have reinvigorated what was a very special shopping area in Leeds.
