NRE saying that there is an "issue" at Fitzwilliam causing delays up to 60 minutes.

Looks like the 1511 Cross Country departure from Leeds was cancelled and just ran from York to Sheffield direct instead but the 1611 didnt and that is showing as arriving into Wakefield in a few minutes

Anyone knows what has gone on and why the 1611 didnt divert as well?

EDIT - the slow 1548 Leeds-Sheffield is showing as passing through Fitzwilliam at 1615 on time. Is there actually an "issue" outstanding now?

Person hit by train at Fitzwilliam, and lines all reopened.

I see.

Why they still had an alert up past 4pm when everything was running through as normal is beyond me.

Most likely as delays will of still being impacting certain services, late arrivals to form then next service etc.
