i was hoping to use the X62 Stagecoach service from Leeds to Hull next week but after looking online it looks like it does not run anymore.

so is this true and if so is there any other bus services on that route that i could use?

I think the service has been suspended due to coronavirus, although it’s possible it may have been withdrawn fully as there are no signs of it returning.

By bus, your best alternative will probably be a East Yorkshire X46/X47 from Hull to York, then a Transdev Cityzap from York to Leeds.

Cheers many thanks for that.

Yes that makes a 3 hour journey compared to just over half before, I use to get it from Leeds to Glasshoughton as the train didn’t alway time shows at the cinema but when life is trying to return to normal the X62 isn’t, best to go by train.

As a regular traveler by bus to Hull, I actually haven't been paying much attention to what is and isn't running at the present time, apart from what buses are absolutely necessary for me to take, especially since the stand for the X62 bus at the interchange is right in a corner, although at the times I've been coming into the station from Anlaby Road it normally runs, I've not seen it at all the past two months.

I'll enquire for you when I'm there next week, but I'm a little bit disappointed, as I fancied traveling on it at some point, even if not the full length of the journey.

One interesting thing about X62 is that at one time it was Megabus drivers that operated the service not to sure whether this was still the case though before the service stopped operating.
