Leaking roof at Middlesbrough & nostalgic posters

A leaking roof on the down platform at Middlebrough closed the usual staircase this afternoon, so the old one was opened up to reveal a storage area and some posters from when? 1982 I'd say at a guess. Anywhere else where there might be similar hidden gems?

It doesn't seem that long ago that there were tangerine signs pointing the way to the Scarborough train platforms.........wish I could have rescued one :cry:

There's been a great collection of 1980s posters on the stairs up from Platform 1 at Richmond for the past five years or so.

I'm pretty certain they were still there when I last went through the station in March.

I do like the Mackenzie Thorpe posters they have on display at Boro. You can get a copy of one of the posters for £50. I think i will once my house is finished!
