Evening all,

About a month ago, I was retailed (online via XC) an Advance Single, Skipton to Cambridge, travelling today:
2H29 1714 Skipton - Leeds
1A46 1815 Leeds - Stevenage
1C52 2007 Stevenage - Cambridge

It appears that, between my booking date and travel date, engineering works have been announced between Royston and Cambridge.

Due to this and the associated rail replacement buses, it’s highly likely that I’ll be getting into Cambridge at least 30 minutes after the arrival time after I booked the Advance ticket last month.

Do I have any course to delay repay in this scenario?

Absolutely; you are entitled to Delay Repay for any delay that occurs with respect to the timetable as it was when you booked, regardless of the reason for the timetable change. Don't let the incompetence or incorrect policy of any TOC tell you otherwise!

It's probably easiest to submit your claim via email (or letter if you prefer), giving the details of your booked itinerary, along with your actual journey as it turned out, as well as detailing the ticket(s) you used; include a picture of your ticket(s). Make sure the claim is received within 28 days of the date of your journey.
