Last Virgin HSTs out of Holyhead

[silexa]

Afternoon all,

Just doing some research on Virgin HST workings, and was wondering if anyone know the date and what powercars ran on the last Virgin HSTs out of Holyhead? I believe it was around 2004, but can’t be completely sure

22nd May 2004, I believe:

HST's

Must admit that still doesn't confirm which were the final power cars, but it was a fairly limited pool by that point.

22nd May was last day of VT HST operation, don't know about Holyhead. Last HST was from Euston to Picc.

Yeah I found this site, however doesn’t state the last day of service or the locos. My search goes on!

Ah, fair play. Hopefully someone with local knowledge might be able to provide the necessary info.

How has it been 20 years already?
