Just posting this in case there are any members interested.
next week will be the very last week that regular freight trains will use the tondu - margam branch.
the final train from parc slip will be next saturday at:
07:00 margam - parc slip (arr 07:15)
08:15 Parc slip - margam (08:35)
the timings for the return returning may change as there might not be much coal left so the train should leave parc slip at 08:15 but may leave later.
as a result of this there are no coal trains heading up the amman valley next week.
after this is suspect the only trains to use this line will be the cwm & go rail tour and the rare diversions.
