Last Manchester-Wigan

Can anyone tell me if the last Manchester-Wigan the 23:20 departure on a wednesday is routed avoiding Salford Central or was today a special route for some odd reason. not seen that happen for a good few years

You can find the routes trains take at www.opentraintimes.com (select 'Detailed' mode from the 'Options' in the top right) and under the 'Technical' tab you can view the schedule for that train which shows any alterations.

I'm pretty sure it is routed that way Monday to Thursday.
