Largest settlement without a station currently and never had one ever

I remember reading that Dunstable is one of the largest settlements without a station. However it had two at one point in the past. With that what is currently the largest settlement without a station and is the largest to have never had a station?

I think Wikipedia used to have one but it got taken down. A hard subject to understand given that some smaller towns and villages have high densities of multiple stations, (particularly around Glasgow)
