Apologies if this is the wrong place to post or against the rules.

We have been sorting through my late Father-in-law's estate and he was an avid collector of railway magazine.

He has a very large collection of professionally bound railway magazines including many complete sets, and we are looking for the best way to rehome them somewhere. Would anybody be interested in any of them, or have any suggestions who else we can try?

We've already tried approaching various organizations, auctioneers etc without any luck so unfortunately it is looking like we may have to dispose of them which would be a great shame given their historic value.

The collection consists of the following:

This has come up previously that there's unfortunately not a lot of interest.... but the older ones... a few of those just might interest some specialist vintage dealers. Might be worth asking people like Rusty Baines Collectables?

My thought is that perhaps the best thing is to donate to them to your nearest preserved railway (or did he have a favourite?) - while they vary, most have some sort of sales operation, able to make the best of them.

I'd be interested in the 20th century Modern Railways editions - however it would depend on where you are, for the practicalities of picking up

Yes depending where located then I would be interested in at least some of these. Please do get in touch.

If the OP is viewing this it would be nice to have an update. I had a decent cash offer in mind for the Backtrack bound volumes and my only concern is collection but Im happy to travel within reason.

Hi, sorry for the lack of reply.
I'm please to say we managed to rehome them all with Friends of Network South East https://nsefriends.org/ which is great as it means that we managed to keep the collection together and preserved.
