Can someone confirm that I can travel via Warrington bank quay & central
To go from Lancaster to Leeds on an anytime day return. Thanks

No, it's not valid via Warrington. It is not a mapped route and, even if it were, it fails the fares check.

Permitted routes are direct via Skipton, via Preston or via Manchester.

Lancaster & Leeds are both Routeing Points. Therefore, the fares check rule doesn't apply, as there is no need to determine appropriate Routeing Points.

The 'yellow pages' lists Lancaster <> Leeds as being available via maps LX or MN+MX or NP+XP

NRE permits this journey via the walk in Warrington, but only on First Class tickets, which are routed Via Manchester. There is no Standard Class fare routed like this.

Permitted routes according to the Routeing Guide include travel via Manchester, but none via Warrington. So is Via Manchester a subset of Any Permitted? If so, does that mean the route via Warrington is also permitted on an Any Permitted ticket (which is how Standard Class tickets are routed) since NRE says so for Via Manchester tickets?

It gets more interesting the more you think about it.
