A day out to enjoy the sun meant a trip to Morecambe on a sunny Sunday in June and a chance to finally visit Heysham Port station. Having seen the trains running from Leeds quite frequently I wanted to finally see what the station offered. On the return via Lancaster, a couple of carefully timed slots took in a couple of special workings and some evening freights (although sadly running behind sheds rather than their booked 92s)
