I paid a visit to Wakefield Railway Modellers' Society today, to take a look at the work they are doing on a layout of Lancaster Green Ayre station.
Green Ayre closed to passengers in 1966 and there is no trace of it left today, so it's particularly interesting to see a model layout of this station taking place - even more so for me, as it's just down the road from where I live.
Here's a video I made of my visit to see the layout: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oliUsN90V6I
The layout is being exhibited soon, so there will be chance to see it operating.
