I think it’s currently in Norfolk at one of the pres lines there (or was recently)?

Although I have now seen that they’ve all moved from there to Grosmont with 55009 as well since. Interesting one of the 20’s was running bonnet-first.

Just having a look at the K&WVR website and I don't see 20007 or 20205 being mentioned at all, my eyes or are they staying at NYMR during their Gala?

It's not hard to think they've intentionally spaced out some of the guests to encourage people to go for more than one day, though I'll just be going on the Friday as well.

I think some of it is circumstantial/operational, rather than intentional. They are being criticised elsewhere for that, but the offering on Friday/Saturday/Sunday is pretty strong so it seems a little harsh. If anything it’s quite innovative to involve the loco’s bringing-in loco’s, and these are running commercially so their operators won’t want them sat around for long periods and the crews will have constraints on their time. Freightliner again, aren’t going to have loads of spare drivers sat around.

Well the 20’s are bringing the Deltic, so I’m sure the paths will appear in time. It’s not unusual for paths to appear in RTT only the day before.

It’s a huge line up for what is a fairly small heritage line, that’s for sure. I’ve been going to this event since 2023, and this is definitely the best line-up since then in my opinion.

Should be a great event and hope it goes well. Had been looking forward to the Colas 37 and the FL70, but both very limited appearances and difficult to get so for me, that sort of rules me out this year.

The Colas 37 is working on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Hardly 'very limited'.

Obviously for anyone wishing to red-pen the 70, then it is Sunday or nothing.

Some days the 37s seem to be out quite late. They're the locos I'm most interested in but I'll only get to ride behind them once across the days I'm visiting as they don't get out until about 1530

I am limited to saturday and travel significant distance by Public Transport.

Indeed. They have 3 consecutive double headers out of Keighley on Saturday in the late afternoon, which makes it difficult if you want to go on all three. Similar story on Friday.

It seems they have timetabled stuff with consecutive trains I’m into, followed by consecutive trains I’m not so into. Perhaps they have done this on purpose to even out loadings?

Personally, I think the KWVR have done a great job of putting this together. There’s something for everyone, lots of classics and they’ve delivered plenty for a small line.

Of course, I will need to compromise on the day as I want to both film and ride, but you can’t have it all ways and it’s helped by continuing late into the night. It looks like the weather is going to be nice too.

I enquired about 20031 on Twitter and they informed me it still has work to be done on the front end.

Random and possibly uninteresting fact: as someone who cleared well over 200 Brush 4s for 1000 miles, 555 was my 128th highest mileage one.

I think the thing about it being everywhere was that it was one of the first few named 47/4s (and the only LMR namer at that time, the others were WR), and therefore stood out whenever you saw it from a fleet of 150-odd other BR blue 47/4s (especially as it also regularly got tarted up for Royal Train duties).
