Apologies for lack of updates this year.
This year has proved an absolute nightmare with arranging visitors. A weight limit recently imposed on the road outside Ingrow station (which is where any road moves to and from the KWVR have to pass over) means that everything has to come by Rail at the moment until such time as the issue is sorted. Although I always prefer to use rail, this has limited the options slightly. It has also been extremely difficult to find enough visitors which can be obtained at reasonable cost from the same geographical area.
Anyway, after going through plans A, B and C I have skipped plan D and gone straight to E - E for Emergency.
What I can now say is that 37264 and D5061 will be coming down from the NYMR. I am currently working on 2 other visitors and hopefully should be in a position to clarify these later this week.
While this may disappoint some (i.e. they are not coming from miles away across the country), although featuring at the NYMR gala last year, 37264 has done nothing or little else since and has had minimal running in the North. D5061 has, to the best of my knowledge, not left the NYMR for some considerable time and would make a pleasant sound blasting up the gradients on the KWVR - especially when put with our own (loud) 25059.
I can assure you I am working on some other visitors as we speak, so this is not by any means the end of the list.
