Does anyone know when the new step-free entrance at Knightsbridge station will open?

The TfL website says mid 2024.

I spoke to a member of station staff at Knightsbridge and apparently the entrance might not open until August. I took a look at the entrance itself and whilst they have installed ticket barriers since I last checked in November, it looks like the entrance is far from complete.
