KLM have joined up with Thalys if booked well in advance
Manchester to Brussels Midi comes in at £72 each way , my only problem is
the time it takes to get through Schiphol on the return , it leaves you 1 hour 30 on arrival but Schiphol is not
the easiest to get through quickly going out , my last experience was 2 hrs , any thoughts people

went back on Web page after initial visit and The Thalys can only be purchased a couple of months in advance at 88 Euro with a 1 hr 45 min transfer on return,
is it worth the gamble , if the Thalys is late / Cancelled where does the non flexible ticket stand!

As it's a connecting service (the likes of KLM still do them) then you should be covered. What does the website say?
What happens to your planned trip if you miss your flight/train? Plan B?

I have done some Google search and previous customers have said if your plane is Delayed they tend to get you on the next Thalys! My last flight Mcr to Ams was 45 mins
late and it took 50 mins for the bag to come down the carousel. On returning it took 2 hrs to get through Bag Drop Screening and Passport .You still have to join the queue
at NS Ticket office to retrieve Thalys Ticket.
