I will, it is a sensible place to put a concourse and it didn't cost several billion pounds of taxpayers money :P

Now I have to walk down the platform, turn left and then walk all the way across the station to get out rather than just walking in a straight line.

Only for a little while, then you'll get your straight line back.

I wonder what it did cost, adjusted for inflation?

You could turn right instead

I reckon it's worth it, I saw the main trainshed roof during various stages of restoration and the interior is stunningly improved!

Redoing the trainshed roof doesn't really require the concourse be removed.

Its just they want everyone to go in throug that enormously expensive one they build on the side.... which really ought to be all glass instead of random opaque material.
