I went along to see the Pet Shop Boys on tour at the Apollo in Manchester last week (fantastic performance). One of the songs they performed, King's Cross, featured a huge backdrop of a video from the song, which included a couple of 317 units, several HSTs and a 47, all around King's Cross station. A full version of the video in question can be found at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jIcdlNvyRVI , and you can see how it looked on stage at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sxfW...C2CC8B03&playnext=1&playnext_from=PL&index=27 - this is from the Moscow show last week and King's Cross starts at approx 3.45 - enjoy!

I *love* that song but it creeps me out a bit now, with the lines:
'Only last night, I found myself lost/By the station called King's Cross/Dead and wounded on either side/You know it was only a matter of time'. and the original video also features a man who is on fire...
It was on the album 'Actually', which came out in September '87, just two months before the King's Cross Underground fire.

I believe it had originally been planned to release the song as a single, but following the King's Cross fire, the idea was dropped (and probably quite rightly so in the circumstances).
