Hello all

I need to make this journey next month using the tube and train, What is the best/cheapest ticket available for this? I have been informed that i would only need a zones 1-5 Travelcard is this correct???

Such a zone 1-5 ticket would cover the journey (as long as you don't go through Kingston, as that is zone 6).

Oyster PAYG may be cheaper, depending on the times you travel.

So all i would need is a zones 1-5 Travelcard (£8.90) and that can be used on the train to Twickenham from Waterloo?

The travelcard is actually a zone 1-6 version as there is no 1-5 day travelcard. The price of £8.90 is correct as long as you don't start to travel before 09.30. If you have a PAYG Oyster card then it will be 40p cheaper as the off-peak cap for zones 1-6 is still only £8.50.
