Can anyone identify this kids program in the late 1990s featuring a race in scotland. It was a race to glasgow queen street where the man came from coupar angus on a strathtay bus then boarded a regional express livery 158 at dundee whereas the woman came from west highlands onboard a regional express livery 156. I rember the race on tv when i was about 8 but don't when it was broadcast (i think it was broadcast on a weekend morning around 10ish) or what the title of the program was called?

McTop Gear?

Clarkson's bouffant hair in the 90s could easily mistake him for a woman.

I cannot add anything helpful about the TV show unfortunately, but the class 156 wouldn't have been in "Regional Express" livery unless Scotrail had gotten clever and fitted RETB equipment to a Regional Railways Central/Central Trains unit - It would have been in Provincial livery as seen in my current avatar pic.
