Deep inside an old toy-box I still have my old train set. As a young boy in the 60's as soon as it came out, other boys would be like moths to a light and all want to join in!

Does this still happen today if you have a young son/daughter/grand - or is it simply *if it ain't got facebook it ain't much*??

Any stories out there??

I bought my lad a TGV set when he was around 10 and he played with it for a little while, but it was soon back in ts box. He's now 15 and whenever he goes to visit his grandad, the first thing he does is run upstairs to play with my old set that's still up in the loft. My 8 year-old daughter does exactly the same thing.

A great excuse for dad to join in!!
