Hello All,
I hope this evening finds you well. I'm having a bit of a scout around here, hoping one of my colleagues may be in a position to come to my aid.
I've been trying, with no success, to get hold on a carriage key/'T' key designed for carrying on a key ring. They're like gold dust, our shack won't order or supply them, and of course the proper supply channels quite rightly aren't available unless you're an authorised customer.
Many crew do have them and there are various types around, the most common seems to be the 'stubby' version with just the one square end, and a curved top bar with a hole in one end for attachment to a key ring, clearly purpose made. There is another type listed on Unipart which seems to be longer, with a holed tag one side for the ring. And there are others which people seem to have made themselves from full size keys.
I've been after one for a long time - would make life a lot easier when one has insufficient hands available! - and I'm wondering whether any of my esteemed colleagues may have surplus items about which you might like to discuss disposal. I am of course bona fide crew, and I'll happily produce my authorities to prove that. Please PM me.
Cheers, BW.
[For the mods: If this breaks any rules then obviously I have no qualms with you doing your bit, I'm hoping it doesn't. Thanks.]
