Hi Everyone,
I have been modelling a virtual model of Kestrel for the Openrails simulator. This has needed some research, to get the details correct.
One of the features of the model is the 3d cabview, which I am trying to make as accurate as possible. One of the difficulties with the cab is that I can find no colour photos, or film that shows the colour scheme.
In the Kestrel, the ammeter had a negative portion to reflect the use of the dynamic braking. If I take the Class 47 ammeter as an example, the positive current sections should be Green and Amber, but what colour would the negative part of the scale have been? I have guessed red, but that may not be correct.
Does anyone have an idea?
I have attached a photo of the cabview, together with a B&W image of the instruments.
Cheers,
Geoff
