Kent Rover + Sevenoaks Routeing question

Hi all,
I’m doing a short Kent rail trip and have encountered two questions:

1. Is the Kent rover valid on the high speed services? (say between Dover and Ashford or Dover and Ramsgate)? I can’t find anything against it but the map seems ambiguous since it doesn’t show the HS1 line separate from the other lines. https://www.southeasternrailway.co....cuments/kent-rover/se-kent-rover-area-map.pdf

2. I have a Stevenage-Sevenoaks Off Peak Return ticket (£25.75 with a railcard, res. code 4J). I understand it’s certainly valid via Orpington since that’s the shortest route but would it also be valid via the marginally longer route via Swanley? I plugged in this route into a journey planner and it returned a ticket that cost the same - I assume that would make it valid?

The Kent Rover is accepted on the HS services on the conventional lines in Kent (ie not on the actual high-speed bit)

The Stevenage ticket is undoubtedly valid from Bickley (or further north) via Swanley as Bickley-Sevenoaks is a through train. It is just over 3 miles further.

 

[Watershed]

The Kent Rover is valid on all Southeastern services, whether branded High Speed or not, over the routes shown on the map.

Note that it's advertised as not being valid on Thameslink services between Gravesend and Rainham, though I am always somewhat doubtful of the legal enforceability of TOC restrictions that aren't printed on the face of the ticket, on a geographically defined ticket.

HS1 itself (i.e. between Ashford/Gravesend and London St Pancras) isn't included in the route map, so you can't travel between Ashford and Gravesend via Ebbsfleet for example. But you can travel on High Speed services between Dover and Ashford, or Margate and Gravesend, for example.
