Listening to Greatest Hits Radio. There is a standby presenter as Ken Bruce is apparently stuck on a stationary train somewhere.

Some big delays on Chiltern this morning which I believe is the route Ken Bruce uses.

Vernon Kay also late for his Radio 2 show this morning, I belive he travels in on the same line as well.

Gary Davis standing in for Vernon. He and his fellow passengers have sent several messages in and appear in good spirits.

Sara Cox was covering initially but then I had to go out so don't know what happened after that...

This isn't the first time Chiltern delays have caused Ken and Vernon to be late, happened a few weeks ago as well, iirc.

Yes I was listening that morning Vernon was late into Marylebone too. All publicity is good publicity as they say

When Ken worked for the BBC during Covid he used to broadcast from home. You would have thought Greatest Hits would provide him with some I/T to do the same thing. I don't suppose he enjoys the delights of Haddenham & Thame Parkway's car park either.
