Very sad news about Pater Falk, he of Columbo fame. What a superb character Peter Falk played - probably the best TV detective of all time. I will be getting my complete (nearly) DVD columbo collection out this weekend and raising a glass or two to this legend of TV detectives!

He died? What a shame, I grew up on Columbo! He made that program and certainly stood out as a police detective show much more them a lot of similar cop shows of that era!

I always liked it, when everything seemed to be going against him, then he would reach the door to depart, turn round, and say "Just one more thing..." then to come up with the reason for the crime, leaving the miscreant with no room to maneouvre in a defence.
