Just a quick one about 'stopping short'

Hi guys

On the 28th I'm off to the GCR Gala. so I've booked my usual
open return Stowmarket to Loughborough via Ely.

However if some of the guys I meet up with wanted to meet at Leicester and
taxi over to the GCR how would I stand in terminating my journey at Leicester?

I checked and it's actually marginally cheaper to just go to Leicester anyways.

Would I get enormous grief off the gateline or are they likely to be ok?

Tickets purchased : Off-Peak return within a month. 1A+1C with F&F Discount.

Yes you can cut your Journey short with that ticket

You shouldn't get any grief stopping short on an Off-Peak ticket as break of journey is allowed.

Leicester station have an easy going bunch so you should have no problem whatsoever.
